Evans approaches her work with an urgency of understanding how her clients are coping in moments of disconnection with their partners and how this is often related to what we as humans experienced in our families of origin. As a mother to young children within a family impacted by chronic illness, she understands the beauty and despair of both parenting and partnership. She has extensive training in how the sexual cycle and emotional disconnection are intimately related as well as how ADHD impacts connection and empathy between partners. She melds her experience and training to support couples along the path of reconnecting with themselves and with those whom they love most.
Evans sees clients in-person or virtually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at our 1020 Ednam Ctr. office. To work with Evans, please contact us to schedule an appointment. Please note that Evans is required to record her sessions as she works toward certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
