June 2022 will go down as a particularly horrific month for uterus owners. If you feel tired, you're not alone. Invite in rest this weekend, as you're able.
What a relief!! Let's dig deeper: Early research in mother-child dyads found that "mismatch" - tension in the relationship - occurs SEVENTY percent of the time. This research has led to decades of studies of adult significant relationships. One might think that in "healthy" relationships, there is no place for discord. But misalignment happens frequently. The power of discord is in repair.
Father's Day weekend can be particularly challenging for those who have experienced birth trauma or loss including miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death.
The fertility journey can be fraught with grief, showing up in ways unforeseen. It makes so much sense, though, as your brain and heart try to muster through the pain of loss.
